NOTE: I do not know who tanslated this article of mine but I saw it in google search. Proved years before that secularists are anti-Hindus Author: Saurabh Shah Publication: Gujarati Mid-Day Date: April 29, 2002 Who comprises the ‘secularist’ group? They are the ones who are malicious towards the Hindu society, who abhor the Hindu culture, and who are ashamed to call themselves Hindu. The intelligentsia which call themselves rationalists and atheists can also be included in the “secularists” group. One can also include socialists and Marxists who, without any remorse, readily enjoy the five star facilities financed by others. Last not least, NGO’s which were funded by doubtful external sources. Hindus are disgusted with the TV channels of these secularists. The anti-Hindu stand taken by anchors of Aaj Tak, Star News and Zee News is reducing their credibility to zero. These diaper clad and immature pseudo secular boys and girls don’t have any intellectual background. From where do they learn all their secular lessons? Of course from their seniors whose “intellectual capability” is well known. If I start listing their names, more space will be needed. Therefore I have decided to take just one example and that of the [...]

In the train passing through Godhra, instead of burning the Ramsewaks returning from Ayodhya, suppose there were Hajees, and the Hindus had thrown kerosene dipped burning rags etc inside the compartments closed from outside? Suppose the BJP govt. in Gujarat had refused to carry out the mass funeral of those 62 dead bodies which were totally charred and had refused to burry all those 62 dead bodies? Then those ignorant, stupid or pseudo-secularist boys and girls working for the English newspapers would have raised a hue and cry, but after the Godhra carnage their laptops remained silent. Few of the English newspapers are deliberately ignoring this and some have chosen to criticise this episode only in a few typical words like ghastly and dastardly act and stating, “The construction of Ram Mandir with effect from 15th March: Cause of incitement of Muslims”. Merely saying this can they undertake such merciless acts against the Hindus. As if this would not suffice, to put salt on their wounds, they write that while investigating those responsible for the Godhra episode, the Govt. should take precautions that the minority community is not unnecessarily harassed. They have used the phrase witch hunting. Whenever the police [...]

Gujarat is not what you see on your idiot box. Gujarat is not what the bespectacled editorial writers and political analysts of the so-called national press want you to believe. Before the Hindu massacre in Godhra, Gujarat was safe for all the communities and even after Godhra, it continues to be safer for all communities, including the largest of all minorities, the Muslims. Remember Qutubuddin Ansari, the young tailor of Ahmedabad who was the poster boy for all secular newspapers and journals? His bruised face and folded hands still haunt our memory. Secularists sent him to Kolkata and made a big issue of his migration. Within few weeks, he came back to Ahmedabad, his home and nobody has reported as to why he chose to resettle in Ahmedabad if it was ‘unsafe for Muslims’. Gujarat has started attracting greater foreign investment than ever before. For the first time, top Indian CEOs like Ratan Tata and Mukesh Ambani have started gathering in Ahmedabad. Last year they had pledged to invest Rs 66,000 crore in various projects and this year again they have come and signed MoUs worth Rs 1, 00,000 crore. Top-league businessmen and industrialists do not fear political or social [...]

Life is a difficult journey for a writer. Yesterday I sat with a cool mind amongst the mess of my life. I concluded that it was a high time to act. The next step was to make a list of simple and effective to dos. I call it- my 5 step plan to happiness. Here’s my list of the 5 things the world can do for me to make my life easier: 1. Cartridge Kitchen 2. Homemade Books 3. Ink-less Printers 4. Eye TV 5. United World of WiFi Here’s how it should work: 1. Cartridge Kitchen: No human need to bother about making food. We would place an internet order to the local factory-like food manufacturing kitchens. The factory would be fully automatic.A few people will require to supervise the automation. A large number of cartridges containing various food ingredients like rice, pulses, various masalas etc. in pureed, chopped, sliced, mashed, roasted, grated forms will deliver these ingredients to cooking units. . A bar code containing the ingredients for your dish will give identity to the ingredients. That will help to execute the process for your dish among a thousand such processes happening around in this kitchens. When one [...]

Hi, friends! Shree Ganeshay Namah:… Am I the last participant to write the post on the Indiblogger’s Indimum? I hope not. Well, I did post first part of my report within 48 hours of the meet but that was in my mother tongue. Here it is in the language most of my hum-surfers would prefer to read. Incidentally, today is the World Gujarati Language Day and I am writing in English! 15th August was the red letter day for the Indian bloggers. We, more than 200 of us, met at the famous Hotel Sea Princess at the upmarket suburb of Juhu in Mumbai. I have my nostalgia connected with this venue which dates back to almost two and a half decades. It’s a grand place and the organizers were lucky to get the Gujarati owners of this prestigious premises to be the host of this event. Indimum was deceptively informal. Deceptively- because it had some serious discussion in spite of the light hearted atmosphere carefully created by the team of Indiblogger. And Informal- the moment you register your email on the laptop at the reception counter a cute assistant would politely ask for your hand and put a rubber stamp [...]
